SINC'S BEATS

Harvest Supper with a can of Special Brew (Playlist)

*Originally from 2nd October 2020

The Day - Curren$y, Mos Def, Jay Electronica

I'm here for this absolute beaut of a hook. Jay Elec's verse kicks Curren$y's off the park. It's an amuse bouche of sorts.

Can't You See Me - Roy Ayers

Lots of love for Roy Ayers on these lists. "Can't you see me, I'm on top of the world"
It's not that good in Parkstone, Poole. Doing decent nonetheless. Keep at it y'all.

All The Way Up - Fat Joe, Remy Ma, French Montana

Remy is the name of the school dog. More importantly Remy Ma did 8 years inside for allegedly shooting someone. Fat Joe is one of those NYC C-Tier MC's that hitched his wagon to reggaeton due to his Latin roots to give a shot in the arm to an ailing career. Played this all through my trainee year and advise we all adopt the mantra of 'All the Way Up'

Night Riders - Major Lazer (ft Travis Scott, Pusha T, Mad Cobra, 2 Chainz)

Off the third ML album. Mad Cobra's ragga verse so sick I suggest you wear flame retardant clothing before giving this a spin. Total fire!

L'Hotel - Yello (Carl Cox Remix)

Bit of 80s/90s phantasy licked to shit by Carl Cox on the remix. A man who could never do wrong in my eyes. Pumping techno goodness.

Lyk U Use 2 - Moodymann (ft Andres)

I suggest y'all seek out the work of Moodymann off the back of this cheery bangaaa. It's far from moody. I am investing my ears here, just house goodness.

Good Body Girl - DJ Monk ft Tico

I think this samples Andy C's - In The Valley of Shadows - absolute old skool D&B bangaaaaaaa. Good body girl, a sentiment close to my heart.

Bad - Don Diablo ft Zak Abel

Don's back. Don doesn't social distance. Don doesn't wear a mask. He's bad in the commercial house sense but eminently listenable. Another mid tempo bangaaa for your delectation.

Red Light, Green Light - Duke Dumont ft Shaun Ross

Duke's back. Prolly more commercial than Don Diablo. Pin back those ears and dig.
He's got some major echoes of late 80s house on that backing track.

Be Real Black For Me - Roberta Flack and Donny Hathaway

Scarface sampled the intro on 'In My Block'. Beaut funk/soul track.
Cheers to the algorithm that threw this my way, be good y'all.
